چکیده
ABSTRACT The current recommendations for nitrogen (N) doses may not contemplate the complex dynamics of N in soil, what imply insufficiency to crop demand. This study aimed evaluate use two portable chlorophyll meters (Minolta SPAD 502 and ClorofiLOG model CFL 1030), after defining sufficiency index (NSI), estimate fertilization factor modern bean genotypes. A block design was used, with four replications. Each experiment consisted treatments, 0, 5, 10 20 kg ha-1 each 1 % considered below NSI defined as adequate cultivar. At end cycle, production components yield were evaluated. It possible obtain precise adjustments methodology TAA Gol 12.5 90 proved be efficient Pérola cultivar, when SPAD-502 meter used. In genotypes size cycle characteristics similar those BRSMG Uai cultivar VR strain, using a between 14 16 N, 95 must reduced, order increase efficiency fertilization.

Farmers need to make decisions that in most cases incorporate the concept of prediction and can hardly be revoked. One such decision is the application of fertilizing inputs. During past crop management and decision-making on fertilizing practices, many significant errors have been recorded, which have led and continue to lead to reduced production and environmental burden. The methodology foll...

Nitrogen (N) fertilization for cereal crop production does not follow any kind of generalized methodology that guarantees maximum nitrogen use efficiency (NUE). The objective of this work was to amalgamate some of the current concepts for N management in cereal production into an applied algorithm. This work at Oklahoma State University from 1992 to present has focused primarily on the use of o...
